DP324 Features
Superb audio quality - carefully optimised double precision signal processing coupled with a 40-bit internal data path ensures a dynamic range in excess of 110dB. The high sampling rate means minimal filtering providing exceptional sonic purity.

A highly accurate 6 band parametric equaliser on each input, providing +15 to -30dB of gain at centre frequencies between 20Hz and 20kHz, with a wide range of 'Q's available between 0.4 to 128. All parameters feature fine resolution with 1/36 octave frequency steps, 0.1dB gain increments, and 100 'Q' settings. Any parametric section can also be set to operate as a high or low shelving filter.

A fully featured compressor with two bands of sidechain equalisation, and featuring variable knee and 'look-ahead' delay for absolute control.
A delay line with separate 'A.D.T' module that may be routed to the auxiliary outputs. This allows for 'staging' of performers 'front/back' and 'left/right' of the soundstage.

A 'brickwall' limiter with sidechain EQ and 'look ahead' ability for pre-emptive adaptation to signal peaks, and so complete prevention of overshoot.

A harmonics generator to introduce controlled levels of second and third harmonic distortion, for simulation of 'valve' sound characteristics.
The comprehensive standard specification also includes 256 memories, PC card storage and remote control via MIDI, RS232 or RS485 ports, with security lock-out.

AES/EBU digital input and output interfaces are available as an option.

Input and output balancing transformers are also available as an option.
The new dual channel processor from XTA continues with the tradition of innovation, quality and reliability.

In IRU of rack space this
Dynamics/EQ/Delay processor is designed for insertion into individual channels, groups, or as a master/finalising tool. Gone is the need to stock separate compressors and gates and limiters and EQ - it's all in the one box!

True digital processing, utilising our current EQ and Limiter Algorithms, and featuring brand new algorithms in all other sections, SIDD offers unparalleled sonic quality, coupled with absolute accuracy and perfect stereo tracking.

Following in the footsteps of the DP226 family, all of this power is easy to access, control, and monitor. Individual access keys for main sections, together with
an enhanced display, and multiple rotary controls make using SIDD simple and intuitive. Storing and recalling your settings is easy, with a built-in library of presets, to use as they are or adjust to your liking. Three modes of use are included to aid setup in high pressure (live!) situations. Only what you need is displayed, reducing complexity and confusion.

Developed alongside SIDD is an all new software package which permits complete control of up to 32 processors on a single long distance RS485 connection. The first SIDD may be used as the RS232 (from the PC/Laptop) to RS485 converter, avoiding the need for external devices. Unlike most other PC software packages, SIDD's control software uses
a full quasi-duplex protocol. This means that any changes to any connected SIDD are immediately reflected on the PC, and any changes at the PC immediately update the SIDD under control.

The latest version of this software may share a COM port with AudioCore, allowing all the DP series devices to operate seamlessly on the same network.
