Kaisers Employ XTA On Tour
|
Colchester based Audio Plus added to a successful 2005 by supplying the PA system for the October NME Kaiser Chief’s
Rock n Riot Tour.
Driving the Funktion One system was some of the best audio technology - the tour was sent out with 7x XTA GQ600’s, and 4x XTA DP428 – a new addition to the ever-growing XTA rental stock available from Audio Plus.
Stefan Imhof, proprietor of Audio Plus said ‘I’ve always used XTA since the company was first formed some eleven years ago – not only is the product excellent quality, but the support from all the staff at XTA is second to none, and
this has been proved with the support that we have received with our latest
purchase – the DP428’ |
Paul Sayer, from Audio Plus and responsible for prepping the equipment before tour, ‘One of the biggest challenges faced on the tour was to give the system tech, the flexibility to have individual processor control for the top row, middle row, downfill, infill, outfill and centre fill of the system, and that DP428 has allowed to do just that’ - and this is through the use of the 8 outputs available on each unit giving a total of 32 channels of return !
The tour covered a wide range of venues – including Brixton Academy, Manchester Apollo and a homecoming gig at Leeds Town Hall. The diversity that was presented was easily taken care off, and the tour was a riot !
